Welcome! Located at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia, the USG Center for Canadian Studies offers a comprehensive program for the study of Canada throughout the thirty-five institutions in the University System of Georgia. We coordinate a multidisciplinary undergraduate program; organize seminars and symposia on cross-border issues of interest to both nations; promote research on Canadian topics in the social sciences and humanities; and conduct extensive outreach to K-12 and post-secondary educators as well as to the business and local community, media and cultural organizations. The Center has been established through funding from the University System of Georgia Board of Regents.

Our Mission:

The Canadian Studies Center has the mission to develop and expand the academic program in Canadian Studies, including facilitating research, scholarly activity and education about Canada throughout the state of Georgia.
